Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced NPD Head to lead the development of surveillance and audio-based electronic products. The role involves managing end-to-end product development-from concept to commercialization-while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle for surveillance and audio devices.

- Define product roadmap aligned with business goals and market demand.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Design, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Sales.

- Drive product design, prototyping, testing, and validation processes.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage BOM (Bill of Materials), cost optimization, and vendor development.

- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

- Identify new technologies, trends, and innovations in surveillance and audio electronics.

- Lead and mentor the NPD team to enhance productivity and innovation.

- Collaborate with clients/stakeholders for requirement gathering and customization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing, especially surveillance/audio devices.

- Expertise in product lifecycle management (PLM).

- Hands-on experience with hardware design, embedded systems, and acoustic technologies.

- Project management and leadership skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Vendor management and cost control expertise.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering / Embedded Systems or related field.

Experience:

- 10-15+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing / NPD, preferably in surveillance or audio devices.

- Proven experience in handling team leadership and product launches.

- Experience in CCTV, surveillance systems, microphones, speakers, or audio solutions.

- Exposure to OEM/ODM product development environment.
