Head - New Product Development - Furniture Manufacturing

Role: New Product Development Head.

Location: Electronic city - Manufacturing plant - Unit 1.

Working days: Monday - Friday.

Working time: 8.30 am - 6.45 pm.

Sector: Furniture Manufacturing domain.

Role Description:

We're seeking an experienced New Product Development Head to lead our furniture product innovation, driving growth and competitiveness. The role will develop innovative products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure market success.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop new furniture products and designs.

- Conduct market research and trend analysis.

- Ensure product quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

- Lead and manage product development teams.

- Foster collaboration and innovation.

- Work with design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams.

- Ensure product feasibility and market alignment.

- Oversee product launches and lifecycle.

- Monitor product performance and customer feedback.

- Product Reverse Engineering.

- Value Engineering.

- Monitoring and execution of new product launch.

- Training related to new product.

- Knowledge on Product Management Software.

- Should handle our two factories.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design or related field.

- Experience: 10-14 years of experience in design engineering or a related field, preferably in furniture manufacturing / Automotive - Car Industry.

- Strong skills in CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or SketchUp.

- Ability to design and develop innovative furniture products that meet customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
