Its India Global Capability Centre in Pune is a strategic technology hub supporting the organisation's global businesses, with a strong focus on capital markets, technology, engineering, risk and operational excellence.

The Pune GCC is at an exciting stage of growth, expanding specialised technology capabilities that directly support global banking and Front Office functions. As part of this expansion, the organisation is building a high-calibre Murex engineering capability in Pune.

This is a build-and-scale leadership mandate, offering the opportunity to establish the Murex capability, shape the engineering organisation, build a high-performing team and influence technology supporting critical global trading operations.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a senior Murex Technology Leader to build and scale the Murex engineering capability in Pune. The role combines organisation building with technical leadership across Murex development, Front Office and Middle Office technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and scale the Murex engineering organisation.

- Lead Murex development with strong focus on derivatives.

- Drive integrations, enhancements, upgrades and Murex version migrations.

- Oversee technology supporting trade confirmation and settlement processes.

- Partner with global business and technology stakeholders across the trade lifecycle.

- Build technical leadership, talent pipelines and a culture of engineering excellence.

- Lead complex development issues and ensure high-quality, resilient delivery.

Your Profile:

- 18+ years of experience in capital markets/banking technology.

- 7-8+ years of recent, significant Murex Development experience - not predominantly application support.

- Strong Front Office Technology and derivatives experience.

- Good understanding of Front Office, Middle Office, confirmation and settlement processes.

- Strong programming background; Java/Python preferred, C++ also considered.

- Proven experience building and scaling technology teams/capabilities.

- Strong global stakeholder management and leadership experience.
