Key Responsibilities

- Lead the procurement and renewal of motor insurance policies for commercial and private vehicles.

- Maintain accurate records of insurance coverages, endorsements, and premium payments.

- Manage end-to-end motor insurance claims, including documentation, claim intimation, coordination with surveyors, garages, workshops, and insurance companies.

- Monitor claim ratios and expedite settlements to minimize turnaround times and loss exposure.

- Ensure strict adherence to IRDAI regulations and compliance standards.

- Coordinate with finance and fleet management teams for budget planning, premium forecasting, and reconciliations.

- Keep fleet database updated with accurate vehicle details for insurance and compliance purposes.

- Analyze loss trends and prepare MIS reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for insurance activities and coordinate audits as required.

Key Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters or IRDAI certifications preferred).

- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in motor insurance operations, preferably in logistics, transport, or fleet management sectors.

- In-depth knowledge of motor insurance products, IRDAI regulations, and claims processes.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis, and insurance management software/tools.
