About the Opportunity

We are working with a leading investment bank that has a strong track record across domestic and cross-border transactions. The firm is looking to strengthen its senior leadership team by hiring a Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. This role will oversee strategic deal origination, complex transaction execution, and client engagement across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, real estate, pharma, and consumer.

Role Overview

As M&A Head, youll be responsible for:

- Origination and execution of large-ticket M&A deals

- Leading negotiations, valuations, structuring & due diligence

- Driving investor relations and strategic business development

- Mentoring high-performing teams and working closely with CXOs and boards

- Handling regulatory compliance in cross-border deals

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 15+ years of Investment Banking / Corporate Finance / M&A Advisory experience

- Experience in managing large and complex transactions end-to-end

- MBA / CA / CFA preferred

- Deep knowledge of valuation, financial modeling, and negotiation

- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills

- Exposure to sectors like infrastructure, pharma, logistics, energy, real estate is a plus
