Head - Mechanical Engineering

We are hiring Head - Mechanical Maintenance for one of our leading adhesive plant manufacturing client. Please find below JD for your reference.

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 15+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead mechanical engineering and maintenance operations across multiple manufacturing units.

- Drive Preventive Maintenance (PM), Breakdown Maintenance, RCA, CAPA and equipment reliability initiatives.

- Manage R&M and Capex budgets, engineering MIS, project execution and cost optimization.

- Drive energy, power, fuel and water conservation initiatives and improve plant efficiency.

- Ensure statutory, safety, audit and engineering compliance across sites.

- Monitor equipment criticality, chronic failures, uptime and maintenance KPIs.

- Drive engineering best practices, new technologies, sustainability and continuous improvement projects.

- Lead periodic plant reviews, audits and cross-functional engineering initiatives.

- Develop and coach engineering teams; drive competency and training programs.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong experience in mechanical maintenance, engineering excellence, plant reliability, energy management and multi-site manufacturing operations, preferably from large-scale process/manufacturing industries.
