Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned leader to head the materials procurement and supply chain function across projects. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials for large-scale real estate developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement strategy for construction materials (cement, steel, MEP, finishing, etc.)
- Drive vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding for national and regional suppliers
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and bulk procurement deals
- Ensure cost optimization and value engineering across projects
- Oversee inventory planning, logistics, and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with projects, design, and finance teams for planning & budgeting
- Implement procurement policies, compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Build and lead a high-performing procurement team
- Track market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks
Candidate Profile:
- 15 - 22 years of experience in procurement/materials management
- Strong exposure to real estate / construction industry
- Experience handling large-scale residential/commercial projects
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing & contract negotiation
- Strong network with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Leadership experience managing multi-location procurement teams
