Job Purpose:
To lead the strategic marketing, planning, and execution framework for the company's product portfolio in Automotive. This role is responsible for integrating marketing strategy with cross-functional business goals through rigorous program management, sales and market analytics, product development support, and commercial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing & Corporate Planning
- Formulate and execute long-term and annual marketing strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Develop corporate and business plans for product lines in alignment with market trends, technology shifts, and policy landscapes.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new and existing products across geographies.
2. Sales Planning & Sales Analysis
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning in collaboration with regional sales teams.
- Analyze sales trends, product performance, channel effectiveness, and customer behavior to generate actionable insights.
- Align sales targets with production planning and market potential.
3. Market Intelligence & Business Analytics
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis including segmentation, competitor benchmarking, and trend forecasting.
- Identify customer needs, market gaps, and product innovation opportunities.
- Track policy changes and subsidy impacts across domestic and international markets.
4. Program Management & Execution Governance
- Lead cross-functional strategic programs, ensuring time-bound delivery across functions like sales, product, engineering, and supply chain.
- Monitor project KPIs, conduct reviews, and manage escalations with agility.
5. Product Development & Engineering Collaboration
- Act as a strategic interface between marketing and product engineering teams.
- Provide voice-of-customer and market requirement inputs for product design and feature planning.
- Ensure marketing strategies align with the product development roadmap.
6. Financial & Commercial Strategy
- Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for new product launches and market entries.
- Own product costing, pricing strategy, and profitability analysis in coordination with finance and procurement teams.
- Drive cost negotiation strategies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
7. Supply Chain & Operations Integration
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure market forecasts are integrated into procurement and production planning.
- Identify supply-side risks and support contingency strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in marketing strategy, business planning, or product management roles in tractors/agri-machinery/heavy equipment sectors.
- Solid understanding of product costing, supply chain dynamics, and engineering interfaces.
- Exceptional analytical and program management skills with the ability to handle complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Leadership experience in cross-border and multi-cultural teams is a plus.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with short-term execution priorities.
