Head of Marketing - Retail Tech / Omnichannel Platform
Location - Bangalore
Experience:

Compensation:
CTC: - 60-70 LPA (Fixed + Variable, commensurate with experience)
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Head of Marketing to lead end-to-end marketing, growth, and brand initiatives for a rapidly scaling retail-tech and omnichannel platform. The role will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth while building a strong, differentiated brand presence across digital and offline channels.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-growth, tech-enabled consumer businesses and a proven track record of scaling brands in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the overall marketing strategy, including brand, performance, growth, CRM, and partnerships
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through digital and offline channels
- Manage and optimise large-scale marketing budgets with strong ROI focus
- Build and scale high-performing in-house and agency teams
- Develop data-driven growth frameworks across paid, organic, and owned channels
- Oversee performance marketing, app installs, marketplace growth, and hyperlocal campaigns
- Strengthen brand positioning and communication across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms
- Collaborate with product, tech, operations, and business teams to support platform adoption and monetisation
- Track key metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, and contribution margins
- Lead marketing for new market launches, category expansion, and partnerships
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or brand leadership roles
- Prior experience in high-growth startups, scale-ups, or digital-first consumer businesses preferred
- Strong exposure to performance marketing, growth analytics, and lifecycle marketing
- Experience managing annual marketing budgets of - 20 Cr+
- Proven ability to scale user base and revenue in competitive markets
- Hands-on leadership style with strong execution capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong business acumen and data orientation
Preferred Background:
- Candidates from leading consumer-tech and commerce platforms ecosystems.
- Experience in retail tech, Q-commerce, hyperlocal delivery, or omnichannel models
- Exposure to mobile-first platforms and app-led growth strategies
Education:
Preferred MBA from a premier institute
