Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Head with a proven track record in driving brand visibility, customer acquisition, and business growth. The ideal candidate should bring strong expertise in sales and marketing, preferably with exposure to pet bedding, toys, consumer durables, or lifestyle categories, either in the domestic or export market.
This is a leadership role that requires building the brand from the ground up, developing go-to-market strategies, establishing sales channels, and ensuring scalability in line with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the pet bedding and soft toys business.
- Build the brand identity from inception, ensuring strong resonance with customers in India and global markets.
- Create short-term and long-term marketing roadmaps aligned with business objectives and expansion plans.
Sales & Channel Development:
- Identify and establish sales channels across online marketplaces, retail partners, and exclusive brand outlets.
- Build and manage export channels by developing relationships with international buyers and distributors.
- Drive B2B and B2C partnerships, expanding reach in both domestic and overseas markets.
Brand Building & Visibility:
- Lead brand positioning, PR campaigns, influencer marketing, and digital engagement to maximize awareness.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Oversee content strategy, packaging design, and promotional campaigns to differentiate the brand.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, operations, and manufacturing teams to align marketing with business goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, mentoring talent and fostering a growth culture.
- Track KPIs and performance metrics, delivering data-driven insights to management.
Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of experience in sales & marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success in consumer goods, lifestyle, pet products, or related industries.
- Strong experience in both domestic and export markets.
- Demonstrated ability to launch and scale brands from ground-up is highly desirable.
- Expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce channels, and modern trade.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for consumer-driven innovation and creating market-leading brands.
