Role Summary:
We are seeking a young, dynamic, and result-oriented Marketing Head - Insurance Vertical to lead strategic marketing initiatives with a strong focus on Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities. The role demands innovative campaign planning, deep local market insights, and a blend of offline and digital expertise. This is a critical position as transitions to a hybrid and online-first model in the run-up to its IPO next year.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for the Insurance vertical, specifically targeted at Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities.
- Lead branding, ATL & BTL marketing, and create impactful offline & online campaigns.
- Manage lead generation, webinars, social media outreach, and local presence initiatives.
- Ensure marketing campaigns leverage AI tools and automated campaign platforms.
Market Development:
- Conduct regular travel to target cities to understand local market dynamics, cultural nuances, and customer behavior.
- Build strategies that resonate with the unique needs of these regions.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 marketing professionals.
- Foster creativity, performance orientation, and accountability within the team.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the CEO, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing activities align with business objectives.
- Drive measurable growth in customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Role Requirements & Expectations:
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, preferably with exposure to Insurance and BFSI sector; proven success in Tier 2 & Tier 3 city marketing is essential.
- Willingness to work 10 hours a day in a fast-paced, strategic role.
- Experience with automated campaigns, digital marketing tools, and AI-led outreach.
- Creative thinker with a flair for innovative storytelling and brand positioning.
- Open to candidates from outside BFSI, provided they have proven campaign success.
- Technological awareness for designing campaigns suited to evolving consumer behavior in smaller cities.
- Strong preference for candidates from top-tier institutes; however, demonstrated campaign success can outweigh academic pedigree.
- Must be willing to travel frequently.
