Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head Strategy & Marketing to provide strategic leadership and drive integrated sales and marketing efforts across our diverse business units. This role is central to shaping the future of our brand portfolio, accelerating digital transformation, and achieving our long-term growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the FMCG or OTC pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Marketing Leadership (Core Focus):
- Develop and execute a cohesive, multi-channel Group sales and marketing strategy aligned with long-term growth and profitability goals.
- Oversee brand development, market positioning, and new product introduction (NPI) strategies for the Ayurvedic drug and nutritional supplement portfolios.
- Spearhead digital transformation and e-commerce initiatives, leveraging data analytics and modern marketing techniques to enhance market reach and customer engagement.
- Lead the creation and implementation of high-impact, innovative marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and hospital/clinic-focused channels.
2. Sales Coordination & Execution:
- Partner closely with Sales Teams to translate strategic plans into actionable, measurable sales targets and enablement tools.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of all sales and marketing initiatives.
- Guide market research to identify emerging consumer trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
3. Financial & Operational Leadership:
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the marketing function, managing budgets effectively and driving overall profitability.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to business unit heads in the areas of strategy, budgeting, and operational execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making across the commercial teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA from a reputed institution is mandatory.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the FMCG or OTC pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven senior leadership experience with direct responsibility over both Sales and Marketing functions.
- Demonstrable track record in building and managing successful multi-brand strategies within regulated environments.
- Prior experience in the healthcare, Ayurvedic, or nutrition markets is a significant advantage.
