Role Overview
This role will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies in international markets with a view to maximize brand visibility, drive sales, and facilitate new product launches. This position requires a strong background in brand strategy, marketing operations, packaging design, digital marketing, and new product development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create and manage yearly budgeting across brands and across forms of media
2. Manage and build a team of brand managers, designers, and packaging specialists
3. Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of artwork and brand assets for brand's international portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market preferences as relevant.
4. Collaborate with design agencies and packaging suppliers to create visually appealing and functional packaging solutions
5. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for each market as per category requirements, in collaboration with regulatory & QC team.
6. Collaborate with Country Managers / Marketing Coordinators globally to execute region-specific marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness & visibility in target international markets.
7. Monitor market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for localized marketing campaigns and product adaptations.
8.E-commerce & Marketplaces
- Monitor and evaluate performance of Ecommerce agencies for the brand.
- Coordinate digital marketing campaigns with Ecommerce promotions to drive sales
- Support agencies in visual asset creation/page optimization
9.Digital marketing
- Monitor and evaluate social media agency performance
- Build and run social calendars for key markets;
- Plan and execute influencer/creator programs
10.Develop comprehensive launch plans and marketing campaigns to drive awareness, trial, and adoption of new products in international markets. Follow up with measurement of impact across key metrics post launch and influence course correction as necessary.
11.Partner with country leads to represent brand at relevant international trade shows, exhibitions and expos aligned with brand target markets and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Marketing from a premier institute.
- Proven experience with a minimum of 10 - 12 years in marketing roles related to export of packaged foods / consumer packaged goods sector. Exposure to handling Marketing for International markets is necessary.
- Strong expertise in packaging design, branding, and collateral development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing, e-commerce advertising and online sales channels.
- Excellent analytical skills and strategic mind-set with a track record of driving results.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
