Role Overview:
The Product Marketing role functions as the Head - Marketing and is designated as a Senior Leadership position within the E-Commerce/Internet industry.
This role requires an MBA and demands strong Communication Skills, Self Motivation, and Creative thinking to Identify Trends, Identify Risk & Opportunities, and drive Innovation.
The incumbent will be responsible for defining the entire marketing vision, brand architecture, and driving profitable customer acquisition across all digital and offline channels.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary Head of Marketing (Senior Leadership) with an MBA to develop and implement the comprehensive marketing vision and brand architecture for a leading E-Commerce/Internet brand. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Analytics.
Key responsibilities include leading the annual marketing plan, overseeing omni-channel acquisition campaigns (SEM/SEO, social, offline), driving product-marketing strategy for new launches, leveraging customer lifetime value (CLV) insights, and leading and mentoring the entire marketing organization for talent and capability development.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Marketing Deliverables:
Marketing Strategy, Vision, and Planning:
- Develop and implement the marketing vision, positioning, and brand architecture for the brand, ensuring strict alignment with corporate strategy and values.
- Lead the annual marketing plan: Define robust objectives, manage budgets, execute forecasting, set challenging ROI targets, and ensure accountability across the marketing team.
Customer Acquisition and Channel Marketing:
- Oversee customer acquisition campaigns (paid, owned, earned media) across all channels: digital (SEM/SEO, social, performance marketing), offline (print, outdoor, events), partnership marketing, and branches.
- Drive product-marketing strategy: work with product teams for new launches (e.g., savings, cards, loans), clearly identify target segments, value proposition, competitive differentiation, pricing communication, and go-to-market roll-out.
- Build and optimize omni-channel customer journey experience: focusing on conversion across digital onboarding, mobile app engagement, website conversion, branch leads, and CRM/funnel management.
Brand Management and Innovation:
- Manage brand communication & reputation: Oversee advertising, PR, corporate communications, internal communications, and rigorous brand monitoring.
- Drive innovation in marketing: Proactively explore emerging channels (influencer, alternate media), new partnerships, fintech collaborations, and personalization at scale.
Marketing Analytics and Optimization:
- Leverage marketing analytics and insights extensively, including segmentation, customer lifetime value (CLV) analysis, detailed campaign performance metrics, customer behaviour data, and attribution modelling.
- Manage marketing budget and optimise spend across channels to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum return on investment.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the marketing organisation: Define the required structure (digital marketing, creative & content, media planning & buying, analytics & insight) and build talent and capability within the team.
- Collaborate with sales, product, operations, risk, and compliance functions to ensure marketing activities are compliant, measurable, and effectively drive business outcomes.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
Education: MBA or equivalent.
Core Function: Expertise in Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and function leadership (Marketing Head/Marketing Manager).
Leadership Focus: Proven ability to Identify Trends, Identify Risk & Opportunities, and drive Innovation.
Management: Strong experience in Team Management and Team Collaboration.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Financial Services or Fintech domain within an E-commerce/Internet context.
