This person will contribute to developing outreach for Unitus Seed Fund to great entrepreneurs in India, funders around the world interested in emerging markets, and industry and ecosystem leaders in sectors where Unitus is focused.   Unitus Seed Fund is a leading early-stage venture capital fund investing in startups innovating for the masses in India. Unitus invests across sectors such as healthcare, education, and financial technology and has offices in Seattle and Bangalore. The fund is backed by veteran investors such as Bill Gates, Vinod Khosla, Mohandas Pai and Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Marketing Strategy: Define the marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, reach and engagement across all channels. Set the right goals and manage the team, marketing analytics, budget and resulting outcomes.  2. Content Marketing: Develop and manage content for brands and portfolio companies across all channels. This would include:  Create and drive a structured content calendar to execute content messaging across multiple levels: overall company branding and driving impact investment messaging, portfolio company stories, sector specific thought leadership etc.  Manage investment announcement processes  Drive half-yearly impact report creation  Drive marketing communications across multiple stakeholders  Develop video content for social media and website  3. Digital Marketing: Manage content and reach of the fund's website to larger audiences. Decide the right cross-channel campaigns and drive process from ideation to execution.  4. Social Media: Strategize to grow social media engagement across channels like Twitter, Linkedin, Medium, Facebook, etc.   5. Public Relations: Build strong connections with media to increase coverage of the fund and select portfolio companies. Achieve set objectives around traditional and digital media coverage.  6. Events and Partnerships: Identify and develop strong partnerships for driving events.  7. Programs: Lead internal investment programs around brand building and entrepreneurial outreach.   8. Reporting: Report key marketing metrics based on set goals to ensure continuous improvement.  Does this sound like you-   - At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in B2B/ institutional marketing and branding strategies.  - Post-graduate degree with concentration in marketing or related field preferred.   - Experience in content marketing, public relations and digital media in India and / or globally in emerging markets.  - Experience of managing a team of at least 2-3 marketing professionals and professional vendors.  - Interest in and exposure to investing, start-ups and/or mission-driven organizations.  - Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and partnerships, with demonstrated people skills is preferred.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Hindi and other Indian languages is a plus.  - Willing to travel up to 15 days per quarter - including international travel, as needed.  - Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, or a similar self-service web - hosting platform.  - Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.  - Excellent attention to detail; ability to check own work and ensure high quality.  - Highly motivated self-starter who operates under limited supervision.
