We are looking for a dynamic and experienced marketing leader to spearhead our Oncology division. The ideal candidate will bring deep therapeutic knowledge, a strong track record in strategic marketing, and experience in launching and scaling oncology products. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving brand strategy, portfolio growth, market penetration, and cross-functional collaboration across sales, medical affairs, and market access teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for the Oncology portfolio aligned with company goals.
- Drive annual brand planning, life cycle management, and new product launches.
- Lead market research and insights to shape strategy and anticipate market trends.
Brand & Portfolio Management
- Own P&L for the Oncology portfolio.
- Drive brand positioning, messaging, and differentiated go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance, promotional mix, and marketing ROI.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, Sales, and Clinical teams.
- Partner closely with the sales team to ensure strong in-field execution and training.
- Represent the marketing function in internal and external stakeholder meetings.
Innovation & Launch Excellence
- Lead launch readiness for pipeline and in-licensing opportunities in oncology.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical marketing practices.
- Drive digital initiatives and innovative engagement models with HCPs.
Team Management
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of performance, learning, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent. A background in science/life sciences is preferred.
- Minimum 1215 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least 5 years in Oncology marketing leadership roles.
- Proven success in oncology brand launches, strategic marketing, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of the oncology market, treatment landscape, patient journey, and stakeholder ecosystem (e.g., oncologists, hospitals, patient advocacy groups).
- Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations and influence cross-functional teams.
- Analytical, creative, and execution-oriented mindset.
