Reporting To: Managing Director / Executive Director

Role Overview:

Our client is a listed company which is growing at a high rate year on year.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-driven Marketing & Business Development leader from the B2B engineering or EPC industry with a good understanding The role involves leading strategic marketing, brand building, and business development initiatives for high-value industrial or building products such as cranes, elevators, heavy machinery, or engineering systems.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving market visibility, lead generation, and business growth across domestic and international markets, while positioning the brand as a leader in its segment.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.

- Strengthen brand visibility and market positioning in engineering, construction, and capital goods sectors.

- Oversee corporate communication, digital campaigns, PR, events, and exhibitions for maximum industry impact.

- Lead the development of marketing collaterals, technical brochures, and client presentations showcasing capabilities and project success stories.

- Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all platforms.

- Build thought leadership through industry associations, trade platforms, and technical forums.

Business Development:

- Drive lead generation and client acquisition across industrial, infrastructure, and heavy engineering segments.

- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, logistics, EPC, and infrastructure domains.

- Identify and develop new market opportunities (domestic & export).

- Work closely with the senior leadership on strategic partnerships, pricing strategies, and key accounts management.

- Oversee and guide BD teams across regional offices, ensuring synergy and consistent growth execution.

People & Performance:

- Lead and mentor marketing and BD teams across locations for performance, motivation, and delivery excellence.

- Collaborate with internal departments including design, sales, and project teams for cross-functional alignment.

- Build a high-energy, performance-driven culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and customer orientation.

Requirements:

- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical). MBA in Marketing or Business Management preferred.

- Experience: 15-22 years in B2B marketing and business development within high-value capital goods / building products / industrial engineering sectors .

- Proven track record in brand management, lead generation, and high-ticket client acquisition.

- Experience managing multi-location BD teams and corporate communications functions.

- Exposure to digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making.

- Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles, project-based marketing, and large-value negotiations.
