Role Objective

Design, build, and run the end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain engine to reliably support 34x growth in volumes, SKUs, geographies, and channelswhile maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and service excellence.

This role owns everything from demand planning to final delivery, ensuring no growth is lost due to stock-outs, capacity constraints, or operational inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing & Capacity Leadership

- Own and manage in-house and third-party manufacturing, production planning, and quality/compliance.

- Ensure capacity is built ahead of growth across core and new SKUs.

- Drive cost per unit reduction while improving quality consistency.

2. Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Build a robust S&OP and demand planning engine.

- Translate sales plans, marketing campaigns, and channel launches into accurate production and procurement plans.

- Reduce stock-outs, obsolescence, and working capital lock-up.

3. Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics

- Own inbound raw materials, finished goods warehousing, and distribution logistics (GT, MT, e-com, EBOs).

- Design scalable national distribution architecture.

- Drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and service-level excellence.

4. New Product & R&D Enablement

- Work closely with R&D and Marketing to industrialize new formulations, ensure launch readiness, and scale winning products rapidly.

- Own tech transfer from lab to factory.

5. Cost, Quality & Risk Management

- Own BOM cost optimization, vendor performance, and quality audits.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and a zero-defect mindset.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

- 6-10 years in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain in FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty/Pharma, or Consumer products.

- Strong experience in demand planning, production planning, multi-plant or 3P manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.

- Exposure to new product launches is a strong plus.

- Strong pedigree in MNC FMCG or high-quality manufacturing setups.
