Job Brief:
- One of our esteemed client is seeking an experienced Head Central Sales to lead strategic sales initiatives and drive business growth.
- This role is central to our success, bridging sales, product, finance, and HR teams.
- You will manage sales data, develop strategies, oversee national sales plans, and ensure the smooth execution of key projects.
- You will also lead the central sales team, guiding them to achieve targets and deliver results.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions.
- Prepare competitor analysis, product-wise and slab-wise sales schemes.
- Support budget preparation and annual operating plan (AOP) activities.
- Present regular performance reports to senior management.
Sales Data Management:
- Maintain and analyse sales data to support decision-making.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Track KPIs, budgets, collections, and forecasts.
Project & Process Management
- Lead strategic and operational projects assigned by management.
- Manage dealer and distributor settlements and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper execution of sales automation tools and ERP systems.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work with finance for fund management and channel partner coordination.
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, training, incentives, and performance reviews.
- Support new product launches and market communication.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support the central sales and MIS teams.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Drive skills development and performance improvement.
Distributor & Customer Management
- Maintain distributor hygiene, stock levels, and ledger accuracy.
- Review customer service performance to ensure high satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred).
- 12 to 15+ years of experience in sales leadership roles.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficient in tools like Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
- Proven experience in cross-functional leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
