Head - Maintenance

For a Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize machine uptime and extend the lifecycle of critical manufacturing assets.

- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to foster a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and rapid incident resolution.

- Manage the annual maintenance budget and procurement of spare parts to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising on the quality or availability of resources.

- Spearhead root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives for recurring equipment failures to implement permanent corrective actions and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

- Oversee strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations to ensure a hazard-free working environment for all plant personnel.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives by integrating modern maintenance management systems (CMMS) to streamline workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

- Proven ability to lead and influence diverse technical teams, fostering collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve unified production goals.

- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret technical data, manage maintenance budgets, and optimize resource allocation for maximum ROI.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and strategic solutions to senior leadership and external vendors.

- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, complemented by a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and TPM methodologies.

- High degree of adaptability and professional maturity, with a readiness to work on-site to provide hands-on leadership and oversight of plant operations.
