Position: Head of Logistics
Location: Mumbai (5 days office)
Knowledge:
- Must have deep industry knowledge of all areas of logistics and Supply Chain including planning and distribution operations.
- Knowledge of financial, quantitative, analytical and P&L skills besides ability to work in multi-functional teams.
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of latest supply chain / logistics processes, methods and best practices to execute business continuity/strategic plans to provide direction toward the achievement of financial targets.

Job Responsibility:
- Creating the vision and strategy for planning, logistics and warehousing across HO & Plant, establishing the footprint, organisation structure and team to deliver strategy.
- Taking end to end ownership of supply chain while adhering to company policies.
- Leading and facilitating collaboration between HO & Plant and supply chain functions to maximize customer service while balancing inventory investment and operating expense.
- Managing transportation budget and activities for inbound and outbound flows, and physical distribution network optimization and performance.
- Driving common processes, disciplines, systems and metrics across the planning function by leveraging ERP (SAP) and advanced planning systems to enable best practice operating efficiencies.
- Utilizing and refining of key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor and drive performance and continuous improvement; ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and group standards.
- Responsible for production scheduling & delivery at optimum cost & quality level, drive material & resource planning.
- Responsible for setting targets & creating development plans for team, drive cross functional team engagement.
- Drive daily distribution planning from factory to depots to minimise stock outs and optimise service levels.
- Co-ordination with Plant, Purchase, R&D, Laboratory, Quality Team, and Sales Team.
Qualification:
Any Degree + MBA would be preferred. Plant logistics experience is mandatory.
