Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Sustainability

- Promote a strong safety culture and sustainability practices.

- Identify risks in warehousing and logistics operations and implement preventive measures.

- Ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

- Conduct regular audits and lead incident prevention initiatives.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

- Develop long-term and annual plans for warehousing aligned with logistics strategy.

- Plan resources based on forecasted volumes and service level requirements, including managing temporary staff during peak seasons.

- Lead logistics planning and execution for inbound/outbound, import/export across multiple markets.

- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

- Provide timely reporting and MIS for all zones.

- Align transport planning with warehouse capacity.

- Coach managers and supervisors to improve process execution.

- Manage return, storage, and handling of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and finished goods.

- Coordinate with government departments and sales teams for timely deliveries.

Cost Management

- Monitor and analyze warehousing and logistics costs.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

- Collaborate with finance for budgeting and forecasting.

- Technology, TPM & Process Improvement

- Deploy Transportation Management Systems and integrate with ERP/WMS platforms.

- Drive automation and digital transformation for real-time visibility.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma.

- Manage logistics strategy and improvement teams.

- Oversee outsourced warehouse and transportation activities and suggest process improvements.

- Enhance productivity through standardization, compliance, safety, and quality improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Masters degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 12+ years of experience in transportation management within FMCG or similar high-volume sectors.

- Expertise in TMS, route planning, and cost optimization.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and sustainability practices.
