Description:

Logistics Operations Head will lead end-to-end logistics and distribution operations across warehouses, transportation, and last-mile delivery to ensure cost efficiency, service excellence, scalability, and compliance. The role will drive operational excellence, vendor performance, process optimization, and technology adoption to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, outbound, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery

- Design and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, service levels, and turnaround times

- Lead vendor and transporter management including negotiations, SLAs, performance tracking, and compliance

- Drive process improvements, SOP standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics network

- Oversee capacity planning, network design, route optimization, and demand forecasting in coordination with supply chain teams

- Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and regulatory compliance across all logistics operations

- Leverage technology such as TMS, WMS, GPS tracking, and analytics dashboards to improve visibility and control

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing logistics and operations teams across locations

- Track KPIs related to cost, OTIF, productivity, damage, and customer satisfaction and take corrective actions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, finance, and customer service to align logistics with business objectives
