As the Head of Logistics and Warehouse for our FMCG operations in Bangalore, you will serve as the strategic architect of our supply chain backbone. You will oversee the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring that our high-velocity products reach distributors and retail partners with precision and speed. This role involves close collaboration with sales, procurement, and finance leadership to align inventory strategies with market demand. By optimizing our warehousing footprint and transportation networks, you will directly influence our bottom line, reduce operational overheads, and ensure that our brand promise of availability is consistently met for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure seamless inventory handling, storage efficiency, and order fulfillment accuracy across all regional distribution centers.

- Implement and optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to drive real-time visibility, reduce shrinkage, and improve stock rotation cycles.

- Manage complex transportation networks by negotiating with 3PL partners and carriers to balance cost-efficiency with delivery lead-time requirements.

- Lead cross-functional inventory planning initiatives to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both stock-outs and overstock scenarios in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

- Drive continuous improvement projects to streamline logistics processes, reducing the cost-to-serve while maintaining high service levels for our retail partners.

- Mentor and lead a diverse team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale FMCG warehousing and distribution networks, with a proven track record of scaling operations in a high-growth environment.

- Advanced proficiency in deploying and leveraging Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools to drive data-backed decision-making.

- Strong analytical capability to manage transportation costs, route optimization, and last-mile delivery performance metrics.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex supply chain constraints to senior leadership and influence cross-functional teams.

- A proactive problem-solving mindset, capable of navigating the fast-paced, on-site demands of a Bangalore-based logistics hub.

- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field from a premier institute is preferred, complemented by 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in logistics leadership
