Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Head to spearhead our supply chain operations across Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end movement of goods, ensuring seamless integration between warehouse operations, procurement, and distribution networks. You will collaborate closely with regional stakeholders, logistics partners, and internal cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiencies and service levels. Your leadership will be pivotal in scaling our regional infrastructure, driving operational excellence, and ensuring that our delivery commitments are met with precision, directly impacting our market competitiveness and customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the entire logistics strategy for the MP and Punjab regions to ensure high-velocity distribution and operational scalability.
- Manage large-scale warehouse operations, implementing robust inventory management systems to minimize shrinkage and maximize space utilization.
- Lead procurement initiatives for logistics services and fleet management, negotiating contracts that optimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance the overall speed of delivery to end customers.
- Mentor and lead regional logistics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance-driven results.
- Analyze complex supply chain data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership, facilitating informed decision-making regarding regional expansion and resource allocation.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-site logistics networks with a focus on streamlining warehouse and distribution workflows.
- Proven ability to negotiate high-value procurement contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure long-term operational stability.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate inventory and distribution data into strategic business improvements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site, high-pressure environment, maintaining composure and strategic focus while resolving real-time operational challenges.
- A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field from a premier institute is preferred.
- Candidates must possess 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management within large-scale industrial or retail environments.
