Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage IT asset life cycle, including allocation, movement, mapping, surrender, and disposal.
- Coordinated with on- site support teams to ensure smooth operations and developed a strong rapport.
- Conduct physical verification of assets and generate reports based on verified data.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and regular updates in the asset register.
- Manage and lead an asset team.
- Provide monthly projections and forecasts for procurement and stock management.
- Ensure timely laptop and desktop and other asset allocation within SLA and maintain requisite stock levels.
- Participate in vendor service meetings, highlight issues, and track them to closure.
- Inspect new material deliveries and ensure timely entry into the system.
- Track and recover temporary assets in timely manner.
- Manage exit clearance process.
- Participate in audits and ensure 100% compliance with audit norms.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in the Asset Management Database (AMDB) for all transactions.
- Support disposal activities and ensure proper store management processes.
- Generate cost center- wise chargeback reports for IT assets.
- Document and communicate changes in asset status, such as additions, transfers, and retirements, along with FAR reconciliation.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure monthly reports are updated on a timely basis in the FAR.
- Monitor CAPEX/OPEX budgets and provide inputs to management on budget utilization.
- Evaluate vendor performance to inform future procurement decisions.
