Reporting to Head-Legal
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: LLB from National College/Delhi University/ Government Law College, Mumbai, Symbiosis etc with around 20 yrs of experience preferably with Manufacturing Industry.
An active practicing litigation experience of minimum 3-4 as a practicing lawyer in the District Courts / High court is preferable. Hands-on with all laws and court procedure, cross examination is necessary. Person should have excellent negotiation Skills with very good communication skills and ability to interact with senior management.
Job role:
- Independently dealing with the entire litigation for the company (in India) including Civil, Criminal, Negotiable Instrument Act, Consumer matters, Competition Law/Anti-Trust, Anti-Dumping, Corporate Fraud, Commercial, Environment, Intellectual Property, Legal Metrology, Cyber Laws, Property laws, Share/ Stocks, Arbitration, FEMA & Miscellaneous Laws
- Attending the Courts/ Tribunals at PAN India level in Civil, Criminal and Anti-Trust etc. matters.
- Drafting and vetting Written Statements in Civil and Consumer cases, misc. applications etc.
- Advising the internal customers at HO and field level on day-to-day basis for smooth running of the business.
Time to time educating the internal customer organizing workshops/ conferences to update and sensitize them about the changing law and regulations
DECISIONS:
- Engaging Lawyers/ Law Firms, fixing fees. Litigation Strategy etc.

1. To safeguard the management/company from any kind of non-compliance and Statutory actions.
2. To bring constant results in all kinds of legal cases
