Experience :

- 20 - 30 years of overall legal experience in Land & Property Litigation/Non-Litigation within the Real Estate sector or a reputed Law/Legal firm.

- Candidates should have a stable career with demonstrated contributions in each organization.

- Recent or previous experience in handling land/property matters in Kolkata and the West Bengal market is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of the legal, regulatory, revenue, and land acquisition framework of West Bengal, including experience in dealing with local authorities, statutory bodies, and property-related matters in the region.

Job Profile :

- Expertise in the Indian legal framework with special emphasis on Property Laws, Revenue Matters, Land Acquisition, Property Litigation, and other Real Estate-related laws.

- Strong legal acumen with excellent drafting, documentation, conveyancing, and contract management skills.

- Extensive experience in urban and rural land acquisition, title due diligence, documentation, and transaction structuring.

- Handling litigation and non-litigation matters relating to land, property, and real estate development.

- Liaising with government departments, revenue authorities, local bodies, and regulatory agencies, particularly in West Bengal.

- Advising management on legal risks, dispute resolution, compliance, and project-related legal matters.

CTC : Compensation will not be a constraint for the right candidate.

Candidate Profile :

- Strong exposure to land/property litigation, non-litigation, land acquisition, title due diligence, and property documentation from leading Real Estate developers or reputed Law/Legal firms.

- Candidates must have handled land and property matters in Kolkata/West Bengal, either in their current or previous assignments.

- Strong network and working relationships with legal professionals, government authorities, and regulatory bodies in the Kolkata/West Bengal real estate ecosystem will be preferred.

- Experience in professionally managed organizations operating in a competitive environment is desirable.
