A $700 Million Global IT Services company is in search of Global Learning & Development Head who will work with Leadership in Bangalore.
Job summary
The Head of L&D leads the company's training, upskilling, and development strategy to align with business objectives and drive growth. This role involves overseeing all learning initiatives, with a focus on building future-ready competencies within the existing workforce. The Head of L&D also manages the team and budget, and measures program effectiveness to enhance employee skills and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Upskilling Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a proactive upskilling strategy that identifies future skill gaps and builds high-demand capabilities within the current workforce.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct ongoing assessments to identify both current and future skill and development needs across the organization.
- Program Management: Design, deliver, and manage effective learning programs, including workshops, e-learning, and blended methods, with a strong focus on upskilling initiatives.
- Evaluation and Budget: Measure the impact and Return on Investment (ROI) of upskilling programs, managing the L&D budget effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders and department heads to align upskilling initiatives with strategic business goals and workforce planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or certification preferred.
- 14+ years of progressive experience in L&D, including significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing successful training and upskilling programs.
- Strong strategic planning and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of future workforce needs
