Role Overview:
We are looking for a hardcore Brand Marketing professional with deep hands-on experience in building, scaling, and repositioning brands in startup or Education/EdTech environments. This role will own the brand narrative end-to-end and drive brand salience, trust, and differentiation across consumer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Own and drive the overall brand strategy, positioning, and messaging across online and offline channels.
- Build a strong, consistent brand identity aligned with business goals and growth stages.
- Lead brand architecture, storytelling, and purpose-led communication.
Integrated Brand Campaigns
- Conceptualize and execute 360 brand campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, social, content, PR).
- Manage brand launches, rebranding initiatives, and high-impact campaigns.
- Partner with creative, media, PR, and digital agencies to deliver best-in-class output.
Startup / EdTech Focus
- Work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and bias for action.
- Build brand trust and credibility, especially for education-led products and services.
- Translate consumer insights into compelling narratives for students, parents, and institutions.
Brand Governance & Measurement
- Own brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity across touchpoints.
- Track brand health metrics (awareness, consideration, preference, NPS).
- Manage brand budgets, ROI, and performance reporting.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Collaborate closely with product, growth, content, and leadership teams.
- Mentor and lead internal brand/creative teams.
- Act as the brand custodian and internal evangelist.
Candidate Profile:
Must-Have
- 10-15 years of pure Brand Marketing experience (not performance-heavy roles).
- Strong background in startups or Education/EdTech industry.
- Proven experience in building brands from early to growth stages.
- Hands-on exposure to ATL + digital + content + PR.
- Full-time Masters degree from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute.
Preferred
- Experience working on youth, student, or parent-focused brands.
- Strong storytelling, creative judgment, and consumer insight skills.
- Ability to operate independently with high ownership.
