Head - LCL - Freight Forwarding Division

Responsibilities

- To head the LCL product and responsible for pan India

- To be responsible for the P&L of the product

- To develop the LCL business across the region

- To manage the procurement and space

- To establish relationship with shipping lines

Qualifications

- Should have good team management skills

- Should have leadership qualities

- Should have excellent communication skills

- To develop and define LCL/ LCL products, service specifications and respective expectations aligned to Product Strategy as well as to Sales Strategies of Industry Verticals Areas & Trade lanes.

- To optimize the Panalpina Groups Global Cost of Sales for Ocean Freight LCL from CFS toCFS

- To execute the Sea Freight policies, standards and guidelines at Country level

- Guiding & leading to ensure the implementation of the ISC Sea Freight strategy through the central ocean teams reporting.

- Ownership of all Sea Freight actions & initiatives aligned with the ISC Sea Freight Strategy

- In cooperation with the other Country Products/Functions, develop and implement initiatives to develop and grow the local market.

- Support all Sea Freight projects / initiatives within the country. Constructively challenge the requests/initiatives when appropriate

- Escalate quality / performance issues to Director Sea Freight when necessary

- Update and support rolling forecast estimates on a monthly basis

- In cooperation with the other Country Products/Functions, develop and implement initiatives to develop and grow the local market.

- Communicate, cascade & monitor the execution of the Ocean Freight Strategy within ISC.
