Profile Summary
Experienced land acquisition professional with 10-15 years in securing permits for large infrastructure projects and over 5 years leading multistate land programs. Strong knowledge of Indian land laws, RoW norms, and power evacuation processes. Proven track record of closing 100+ MW renewable sites with successful grid connectivity. Skilled in negotiation, community engagement, and fluent in English and regional languages.
Location - Noida
Key Skills
- Lead land strategy and acquisition across multiple states, including site identification, due diligence, and securing land parcels for renewable energy projects.
- Oversee title verification, conversion, registration, and execution of purchase, lease, or JDA agreements.
- Manage Right of Way (RoW) for transmission lines and evacuation routes; ensure smooth resolution of community and stakeholder issues.
- Drive grid connectivity processes coordinating with STU/CTU for LTA/GNA, bay allocation, and evacuation approvals.
- Liaise with government departments and authorities (Revenue, Energy, DISCOMs, SLDCs, PGCIL, local bodies) to expedite statutory clearances and project approvals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Development, Legal, Engineering, and EPC teams to align land and connectivity deliverables with overall project timelines.
- Establish robust governance and compliance mechanisms through documentation, dashboards, and trackers.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation on social, legal, and environmental fronts throughout the project lifecycle
- Deep understanding of land acquisition frameworks, RoW norms, and renewable project connectivity regulations.
- Proficient in reviewing technical layouts, power evacuation drawings, and grid interface documents.
- Strong stakeholder management and government liaisoning skills.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems, fire & EHS norms, and regulatory compliances.
- Excellent coordination and negotiation abilities with vendors, consultants, and state authorities.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional project teams and multistate project execution.
- Working knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, WTP/STP/ETP, fire protection, compressed air) will be an added advantage.
