Head - IT Infrastructure

Role Summary:

Lead the University's IT infrastructure strategy and operations across campuses, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable technology services for academics, research, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy & Architecture: Define infrastructure roadmap (network, cloud, data center, classroom tech).

- Operations: Manage multi-campus networks, Wi-Fi, servers, storage, AV systems, and helpdesk.

- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement security controls, DPDP Act compliance, CERT-In directives, BCP/DR.

- Cloud & Projects: Oversee hybrid cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure modernization projects.

- Integration: Support SIS/ERP/LMS hosting and identity management (SSO, MFA).

- Vendor & Budget: Manage contracts, SLAs, procurement (GeM/GFR), and cost optimization.

- Governance & Leadership: Establish IT policies, lead infrastructure team, and engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's in CS/IT; Master's preferred.

- 10-12+ years in IT infrastructure; 5+ years in leadership roles.

- Experience with large-scale networks, cloud, and cybersecurity.
