Head - IT & Digital Transformation - Insurance

Role Overview:

As the Head IT & Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the IT and digital strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives. This role involves overseeing all aspects of IT operations, infrastructure, and digital initiatives, ensuring efficiency, security, and innovation. You will collaborate closely with various business units, senior management, and external vendors to drive digital transformation, improve business processes, and enhance customer experience. Your leadership will directly impact the organization's ability to leverage technology for competitive advantage and achieve its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and digital transformation strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.

- Lead the IT team in managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability.

- Oversee IT project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Manage IT operations, including help desk support, network administration, and data center management, to ensure smooth and efficient IT services.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies, automation of processes, and improvement of customer experience.

- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.

- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.

- Ensure compliance with relevant IT security and data privacy regulations.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives and drive digital transformation.

- Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, operations, and security, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

- Strong skills in IT program and project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent vendor management skills, negotiating contracts and managing relationships effectively.

- Proficient in budgeting and financial management within an IT context.

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and build high-performing teams.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

- Adaptable to work in Mumbai.
