Job Summary: The IT Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire IT infrastructure of the organization. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of the ERP systems, particularly Infor LN and Baan ERP, as well as overall system administration. The role requires a hands-on approach to maintain and improve IT systems, manage data migration, and ensure seamless daily IT operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. ERP Administration: o Expertise in Infor LN and Baan ERP systems. o Administration of ERP systems, including deployment versions and server migration. o Manage data migration activities ensuring data integrity and security. o Oversee the maintenance of ERP systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. o Handle daily operations related to ERP systems including job management, device management, user management, and solution management. 2. System Administration: o Ensure the security and stability of IT systems including servers, networks, and databases. o Regularly update and maintain IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs. o Manage IT-related projects, including system upgrades and integration of new technologies. o Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data protection and system security. 3. IT Support and Troubleshooting: o Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any ERP-related errors or system issues. o Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, providing timely solutions to any issues. o Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware and software support. 4. Strategic IT Planning: o Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. o Identify opportunities for technology improvements and efficiencies. o Plan and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and expenditures. 5. Team Leadership: o Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. o Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices. o Evaluate team performance and manage career development within the IT department. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in IT management, particularly with Infor LN and Baan ERP systems. - Strong knowledge of system administration, including server and network management. - Experience in data migration and ERP system deployment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop an IT team. - Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with other ERP systems and IT infrastructure. - Certifications in IT management or ERP systems are a plus. - Experience in a similar industry or sector.
