Head - Investor Relations (PMS)
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Investor Relations professional to lead the IR function at a fast-growing Portfolio Management Services (PMS) firm. This is a senior-level, client- facing role focused on deepening investor relationships, managing a team of RMs/Sr. RMs, and supporting fund-raising efforts across PMS, AIF, and bespoke investment mandates. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of capital markets, and a proven track record of managing HNI/UHNI relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Investor Relations function, managing a team of Relationship Managers (RMs and Sr. RMs) to ensure high standards of investor servicing and communication.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing HNI/UHNI investors, family offices, and wealth management partners.
- Drive investor communication, including portfolio performance updates, investment rationale, and periodic commentary in alignment with the firm's positioning.
- Strategize and execute client engagement, retention, and acquisition campaigns, leveraging a relationship-driven approach.
- Serve as a key spokesperson of the firm during investor meetings, briefings, and strategic interactions.
- Support fund-raising initiatives across PMS, AIF, and bespoke discretionary mandates by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee end-to-end investor lifecycle management, including client onboarding, compliance due diligence, and regular servicing.
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to translate investment strategy into clear and compelling investor narratives.
- Represent the firm at investor events, webinars, and partner forums, strengthening brand visibility and investor trust.
Qualifications:- MBA in Finance / CA / CFA preferred
- Strong understanding of equity markets, portfolio management products (PMS/AIF), and investment structures
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills
- Experience managing teams and handling senior investor relationships is a must
