Role Overview:
As a growing company expanding its footprint, Trustwell is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Operations to oversee and streamline its operational activities. The role demands a proactive leader who can ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of projects while managing diverse teams and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage proxy solicitation campaigns (AGMs, EGM, contested meetings) from planning through execution.
- Oversee shareholder identification, engagement, and communication strategies.
- Monitor vote trends in real time and adjust outreach tactics accordingly.
- Prepare and present periodic reports and analytics to clients and senior management.
- Ensure all operations comply with securities regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with registrars, transfer agents, custodians, depositories, and other intermediaries.
- Mentor and supervise the operations / project teams, ensuring KPI targets and SLAs are met.
- Proactively identify process bottlenecks and implement improvement or automation initiatives.
- Support business strategy: provide market insights, help design new service offerings, and contribute to client pitches / proposals
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the finance industry, with a strong focus on the share market domain.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; confident in conducting client meetings and presentations.
- MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
