Head - Inventory Planning & Warehouse Control

- The Head - Inventory Planning & Warehouse Control will lead end-to-end inventory strategy, warehouse governance, and stock optimization across the supply chain network.

- This role is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, high stock accuracy, efficient warehouse operations, and strong coordination with planning, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to support business growth, service levels, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own inventory planning strategy including demand-supply alignment, safety stock norms, replenishment cycles, and working capital optimization

- Lead warehouse control across multiple locations including stock accuracy, ageing, space utilization, and operational efficiency

- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory

- Ensure strong governance on cycle counts, physical audits, variance analysis, and root cause corrective actions

- Collaborate closely with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams for seamless inventory flow

- Define and track KPIs related to inventory turns, fill rate, stock availability, shrinkage, and warehouse productivity

- Implement and improve systems such as ERP, WMS, and inventory planning tools for visibility and control

- Lead and develop high-performing inventory and warehouse teams, ensuring SOP adherence and continuous improvement

- Support expansion projects, new warehouse setups, and process standardization initiatives
