Head - Inventory Optimization

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Strategy & Optimization

- Develop and execute inventory optimization strategies aligned with business growth, instock targets, and working capital constraints

- Define inventory norms (e.g., safety stock, reorder levels, cycle stock) by category, location, and seasonality

- Monitor and optimize key metrics: Inventory Turns, Fill Rates, Stock Cover, Days of Inventory (DOI), Overstock, and Stockouts

2. Data- Driven Planning & Forecasting

- Partner with demand planners to align inventory with forecasted demand across multiple regions and fulfillment centers

- Use predictive analytics and scenario modeling to optimize inventory allocation

Build dashboards, control towers, and review cadences to monitor inventory health and risk

3. System, Tools & Automation

- Collaborate with Product & Tech teams to build scalable inventory planning and replenishment systems

- Drive automation in inventory health monitoring, alerts, and replenishment triggers

- Leverage data science and AI models for dynamic inventory decision- making

4. Cross- functional Leadership

- Work closely with Category Management, Finance, Fulfillment, and Procurement to align inventory goals

- Support new category or region launches with inventory design strategies

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of inventory planners and analysts

What We're Looking For:

- 10+ years of experience in inventory management, demand/supply planning, or supply chain analytics

- Strong exposure to data- driven inventory planning in high- SKU environments (e.g., grocery, FMCG, e- commerce, retail)

- Proven ability to design frameworks, define KPIs, and scale inventory programs

- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools

- Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Anaplan) or in- house platforms

- Bachelor's in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations; MBA is a plus
