Head - International Marketing & Exports
Location : Kolkata (Head Office)
A leading Indian heavy engineering organization with a strong global presence is seeking a senior commercial leader to head its international marketing and export business. This role will be responsible for driving global market expansion, securing large-scale international projects, and building long-term partnerships across infrastructure-led markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and scale export revenues across Asia, Middle East, Africa, and other international regions
- Lead end-to-end techno-commercial bidding for large industrial and cooling tower projects
- Develop and execute international market entry and expansion strategies
- Build and manage relationships with global clients, EPCs, consultants, and overseas agents
- Negotiate high-value contracts, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate closely with engineering, proposal, and manufacturing teams to deliver customized solutions
- Represent the organization at international exhibitions, client meetings, and strategic forums
- Build and lead high-performing export marketing teams across geographies
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in international marketing / export sales within heavy engineering, EPC, power, or process equipment industries
- Strong exposure to cooling towers, power plant BOP equipment, or large engineered systems
- Proven track record of closing complex, long-cycle international projects
- Deep understanding of international tenders, pricing, contracts, and export regulations
- Mechanical engineering background preferred; MBA is an advantage
- Ability to engage effectively with CXO / Board-level stakeholders
