The company is looking to hire a seasoned professional in International Sales / Business Development, and the role details are enclosed below for your reference:
Client Overview
- Industry: Heavy Engineering / Manufacturing
- Product Range: Static Equipment including Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, etc.
- Sectors Served: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Power & Process Industries
- Global Presence: Clients across USA, Europe, Middle East, SEA, and Africa
Function: Export / Global Sales
Location: Mumbai or Ahmedabad (Please indicate your location preference)
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and penetrate new international markets across USA, Europe, SEA, Middle East, Africa.
- Manage RFQs, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and participate in global tenders.
- Drive sales for static equipment: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, etc.
2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with Licensors, EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and end-users.
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and global pricing strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of international standards (ASME, TEMA, API, PED).
- Contribute to product positioning and diversification strategies.
4. Cross-Functional & Execution Support
- Coordinate between clients and internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Production).
- Ensure smooth handover post-order and address client queries during project execution.
5. Export Documentation & Compliance
- Manage international documentation (export, commercial invoices, Incoterms).
- Liaise with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
Candidate Profile & Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of static equipment and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- Familiarity with international standards (ASME, TEMA, API, PED, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, ERP systems
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Experience managing multicultural clients and complex sales cycles
