Role Overview:
The International Business Development Head Europe will spearhead our expansion efforts in the European market, driving revenue growth and establishing a strong brand presence. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, identifying and cultivating key partnerships, and leading product launches tailored to the European market. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution and achievement of business objectives. This role directly impacts the company's overall growth strategy and market share in a critical region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the European market, aligning with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors, agents, and key accounts across Europe to expand market reach and penetration.
- Lead the product launch process for new and existing products in the European market, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the European region.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Negotiate and close deals with key customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term relationships.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maximize revenue generation.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building brand awareness and generating new business opportunities.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful international sales strategies, specifically within the European market. Proven expertise in navigating the complexities of the European business environment, including regulatory requirements, cultural nuances, and competitive dynamics. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with key customers. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
- Must possess in-depth European Market Knowledge, Sales Strategy acumen, and experience in Product Launch initiatives and Business Development. The role requires a candidate with 15-20 years of experience in International Sales.
