Head - Internal Audit - Pharma - CA

The Head - Internal Audit will be responsible for leading and executing the internal audit function independently, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong expertise in SAP systems and a deep understanding of pharma operations. The incumbent will act as an independent contributor, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Internal Audit Planning - Develop and execute risk-based audit plans across business functions.

- Compliance Monitoring - Ensure adherence to pharma industry regulations, GMP, and company policies.

- SAP Audit Expertise - Conduct audits leveraging SAP modules (finance, supply chain, manufacturing).

- Risk Assessment - Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational and financial risks.

- Reporting & Recommendations - Present findings to management with actionable insights.

- Process Improvement - Recommend and implement controls to strengthen governance.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant

- 15+ years of progressive internal audit experience.

- Strong background in pharmaceutical industry.

- Hands-on expertise in SAP systems.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
