Job Description - Head of Internal Audit

Experience: 15 - 20 years

Industry: Manufacturing - Diversified Business Groups

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the internal audit plan across multiple business domains.

- Guide audit teams on audit methodology, execution and risk assessment.

- Present audit findings, risks and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior management.

- Drive implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

- Explain audit observations to teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and accountability.

- Drive continuous improvement in internal controls, processes and governance.

- Conduct regular site visits to manufacturing facilities and business locations.

Candidate Profile:

- 15 - 20 years of experience in internal audit, preferably with Big 4 firms handling domestic clients and/or large manufacturing groups.

- Experience auditing multiple business functions and manufacturing operations.

- Strong exposure to field audits and plant/site visits, not limited to back-office or shared services audits.

- Proven experience in Audit Committee presentations, stakeholder management and audit remediation.

- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

- Demonstrated career stability and the ability to drive audit initiatives end to end.
