Head - Internal Audit - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Internal Audit to lead our governance and risk assurance framework in Bangalore. In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee the end-to-end internal audit lifecycle, ensuring that our operational, financial, and compliance processes remain robust in a rapidly scaling environment. You will act as a key advisor to the Board and senior leadership, translating complex risk landscapes into actionable insights that safeguard the organization's integrity. By fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, you will directly influence our long-term business resilience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute a risk-based annual audit plan to provide the Board and Audit Committee with objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing audit team, fostering a culture of professional skepticism and analytical rigor to improve organizational process efficiency.

- Partner with cross-functional leadership to identify emerging business risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies that align with our strategic growth objectives.

- Oversee the compliance framework to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, thereby minimizing legal and reputational exposure.

- Drive the transformation of audit methodologies by integrating data analytics and automation to enhance the depth and speed of audit reporting.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and evaluating Internal Control frameworks within complex, multi-layered business environments.

- Exceptional ability to communicate complex audit findings and risk assessments to C-suite executives and board members with clarity and authority.

- Proven track record of leading large-scale audit functions, with a focus on stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships across departments.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into strategic business recommendations.

- Professional qualification such as CA is mandatory
