Role : Head - Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & ICFR
Important - Mandatory Criteria :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Age should be below 40 years.
- Current or recent experience in a Manufacturing organization is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Manufacturing, with exposure to plant operations, supply chain, procurement, production, inventory, and multi-location audits.
- Should have independently led the Internal Audit function. Experience managing a small audit team (up to 3 members) is acceptable.
- 12-15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 6 years in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ICFR, or Internal Controls leadership roles.
- Experience presenting directly to the Audit Committee and Board is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Big 4 Risk Advisory/Internal Audit is an added advantage.
About the Role :
This is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing and leading the Group's independent assurance function across Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Internal Financial Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR). The role reports functionally to the Audit Committee, ensuring complete independence and objective governance oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit strategy across multiple entities and locations.
- Lead and own the ICFR framework, including control design, documentation, testing, remediation, and continuous monitoring.
- Maintain the Enterprise Risk Register and facilitate periodic enterprise risk assessments.
- Present independent audit observations, risk assessments, and governance updates to the Audit Committee and Board.
- Drive governance initiatives, whistleblower investigations, fraud risk assessments, and external audit readiness.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Internal Audit and Risk team.
- Strengthen governance frameworks to support listed-company standards and future Private Equity (PE) or external capital requirements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- 12 - 15 years of post-qualification experience.
- Minimum 6 years in leadership roles covering Internal Audit, Risk Management, ICFR, or Internal Controls.
- At least 5 years of recent experience in a Manufacturing organization.
- Strong understanding of Companies Act, corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Experience working with Audit Committees and senior leadership.
- Exposure to SAP and GRC tools is preferred.
- Big 4 Risk Advisory/Internal Audit experience will be an advantage.
