Job Title: Head of Internal Audit

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional to lead our Internal Audit function. The Head of Internal Audit will be responsible for strengthening our internal control environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the organization's risk management and governance framework. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of auditing in the BFSI, NBFC, Fintech, or corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit plan covering all areas of the organization.

- Lead and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory regulations including RBI guidelines, SEBI requirements, and the Companies Act.

- Present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and the Board.

- Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing internal audit team.

- Utilize audit software and ERP systems for data analysis and reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory for stakeholder communication.

- Prior exposure to BFSI, NBFC, Fintech, or large corporate environments preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS/GAAP, corporate taxation, and regulatory frameworks.

- Strong command of audit tools, data analytics, and ERP platforms.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
