Role : Head Internal Audit & Quality Assurance

Location: South India (Preferably Kerala or Tamil Nadu)

Industry: Gold Loan / Retail Lending NBFC

Reporting To: CEO

We are seeking an experienced Head Internal Audit & Quality Assurance to lead the audit, compliance, risk management, and quality assurance functions for a fast-growing NBFC. The role will be responsible for strengthening governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and building a robust audit framework across a PAN India branch network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead internal audit and quality assurance functions across the organization.

- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and NBFC governance requirements.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

- Oversee branch, corporate, and gold inspection audits.

- Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and quality standards.

- Present audit findings, compliance reports, and recommendations to senior management.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a large audit and QA team.

Ideal Candidate:

- Fellow Member of ICAI / ICMAI / ICSI or equivalent qualification.

- 15+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, or Quality Assurance within NBFCs, Banks, or Financial Services.

- Strong understanding of gold loan and/or retail lending operations.

- Proven leadership experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
