Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our Internal Audit function and provide independent assurance on the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness. The role involves strategic oversight, audit leadership, and close engagement with the Audit Committee and Board of Directors to ensure regulatory compliance and strong corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the Internal Audit Charter, policies, and procedures in line with global standards (IIA, COSO, ISO, etc.).

- Design and execute a risk-based annual audit plan approved by the Audit Committee.

- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing internal audit team focused on integrity and excellence.

- Provide objective assurance and advisory support to management and the Board.

Audit & Risk Management:

- Evaluate internal controls, governance practices, and enterprise risk management frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, stock exchange norms, and corporate governance standards.

- Conduct audits across operational, financial, IT, compliance, and strategic domains.

- Recommend improvements and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Board & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Present audit reports, key findings, and risk assessments to the Audit Committee and Board.

- Act as the primary liaison among internal stakeholders, regulators, external auditors, and senior management.

- Provide insights on emerging risks and control environment enhancements.

Governance & Compliance:

- Strengthen organizational controls and ensure effective policy implementation.

- Align internal audit processes with evolving industry practices and regulatory requirements.

- Safeguard company assets through proactive risk monitoring and compliance oversight.
