Job Title: Head Interior Design (ID Head)
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer / Design Director
Location: GGN
Department: Design & Development
Role Summary
The Interior Design Head will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of all interior design initiatives across luxury, residential, and commercial projects. This leadership role requires combining creativity with business acumen, ensuring designs meet global standards while aligning with the companys brand identity and customer & stakeholders expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute the organizations interior design strategy across all asset classes.
- Translate business objectives and customer insights into functional, aesthetic, and sustainable interior design solutions.
- Benchmark projects against global standards and industry best practices.
2. Design Development & Execution
- Lead concept-to-completion interior design for luxury residences, show flats, clubhouses, offices, and retail spaces.
- Collaborate with architects, project heads, and external consultants to integrate interiors seamlessly with overall design.
- Ensure consistency in design language, material selection, and quality across projects.
3. Innovation & Customer Experience
- Introduce cutting-edge design trends, technology, and sustainable solutions.
- Enhance customer delight by developing premium lifestyle-driven spaces.
- Spearhead customization initiatives and exclusive client-facing design discussions for marquee projects.
4. Operations & Delivery
- Manage multiple project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for all ID projects.
- Oversee quality checks w.r.t procurement of materials
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Build, inspire, and manage a team of interior designers, 3D visualizers, and project managers.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external consultants, international design partners, and vendors.
- Drive strong working relationships with project heads, marketing teams, and customer relations.
- Represent the design function in board reviews, media showcases, and industry forums.
Key Deliverables (KPI/KRA)
- On-time completion of interior design deliverables across all projects.
- Customer satisfaction scores from handover-ready units and show flats.
- Cost optimization without compromise on quality and design aesthetics.
- Introduction of at least 2 to 3 innovative design concepts annually.
- Strong vendor partnerships and timely procurement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Interior Design / Architecture from a reputed institute &.
- 15 to 20 years of experience in high-end interior design Studio, preferably in large-scale Design Studio, real estate developers , luxury hospitality, or retail.
- Proven leadership in delivering iconic residential/commercial interiors.
- Strong network with consultants, suppliers, and global design partners.
